Our Approach

We built ArcSuite as a single creative environment where every part of the writing process lives together, powered by AI that understands narrative structure.

  • Offline-first with Yjs CRDTs so writers never lose work, with conflict-free merging when they reconnect
  • AI consistency layer using Claude API to continuously check character details, timelines, and plot coherence across the entire manuscript
  • Visual beat boards built on React Flow for outlining story structure with drag-and-drop act/scene planning
  • DALL-E visualization for character and scene concept art generated directly from manuscript descriptions
  • Full-text offline search via FlexSearch and IndexedDB so writers can find any passage without a network connection
